La crítica es un veneno virulento. Daña en todos los casos eventualmente al que está siendo criticado, pero hiere aún más al que critica. Donde hay pureza de motivo, amor verdadero y una gran medida de desapego, los cuerpos más sutiles del que está bajo ataque sufrirán mucho menos, por lo que es importante permanecer centrado en la mente amorosa, pase lo que pase. Con esta actitud seremos libres de nuestras cargas en el menor tiempo posible.
Criticism is a virulent poison. It damages in every case eventually the one who criticises, but it hurts still more the one who criticises. Where there is purity of motive, true love and a large measure of detachment, the subtler bodies of the one who is under attack, will suffer much less, so it is important to stay centred in the loving mind, no matter what. With this attitude we will be free from our burdens in the shortest possible time.

La crítica no expresada es muy peligrosa, porque está poderosamente enfocada, y dirigida fuertemente, aunque no individualmente; surge continuamente y como un flujo constante, enviado con los celos, la ambición, el orgullo en la comprensión personal de una supuesta situación; y, la creencia de que quien critica está en condiciones de comprender correctamente y podría, dado el derecho de oportunidad, tomar la acción correcta.
Unvoiced criticism is very dangerous, for it is powerfully focussed and strongly, though not individually directed; it issues continuously and as a steady stream, sent out with jealousy, ambition, pride in a personal grasp of a supposed situation, and a belief that the one who criticises, is in a position to understand correctly and could – given right opportunity – take right action.
Que la Vida que todo abarca, que se expresa a través del AMOR, nos guíe a todos, más cerca del centro, más cerca el uno al otro y más lejos en el camino que conduce a la felicidad del alma y la vida abundante.
May the all-embracing Life which expresses Itself through LOVE, lead us – one and all – closer to the Centre, nearer to each other and further on the Way that leads to bliss and life abundant.
