Toda fe religiosa ofrece la promesa de que aquellos que buscan con sinceridad encontrarán lo que están buscando; busquemos, por tanto.

Si por nuestra búsqueda descubrimos que todas estas declaraciones de la psicología espiritual no son más que sueños visionarios, y no se aprovechan en absoluto, llevándonos sólo a la oscuridad, no se habrá perdido, sin embargo, el tiempo, porque habremos determinado dónde no mirar.

Si por nuestra búsqueda, en cambio, la corroboración llega poco a poco, y la luz brilla cada vez con más claridad, perseveremos hasta que amanezca el día en que la luz que brilla en las tinieblas habrá iluminado el corazón y el cerebro, y el buscador despertará a la comprensión de que toda la tendencia de la evolución ha sido traerle esta expansión de conciencia y esta iluminación; y, que el logro del proceso iniciático y la entrada al quinto reino divino no es una quimera o un fantasma salvaje, sino un hecho establecido en la conciencia.

Cada uno debe comprobarlo por sí mismo. Cada alma debe descubrir dentro de sí misma, recordando siempre que el Reino de Dios está dentro, y que solo aquellos hechos que se realizan dentro de la conciencia individual como verdades tienen algún valor. Mientras tanto, se puede afirmar lo que muchos conocen y han comprobado dentro de sí mismos que son verdades de naturaleza incontrovertible para ellos; al lector inteligente surgirá entonces la oportunidad y la responsabilidad de comprobar por sí mismo su falsedad o verdad.

Every religious faith holds out the promise that those who seek with earnestness shall find that which they are seeking; let us, therefore, seek.

If by our search we find that all these statements are but visionary dreams, and profit not at all, leading us only into darkness, time will nevertheless not have been lost, for we shall have ascertained where not to look.

If by our search, on the other hand, corroboration comes little by little, and the light shines ever more clearly, let us persist until that day dawns when the light which shineth in darkness will have illuminated the heart and the brain, and the seeker will awaken to the realisation that the whole trend of evolution has been to bring him this expansion of consciousness and this illumination, and that the attainment of the initiatory process, and the entrance into the fifth kingdom is no wild chimera or phantasm, but an established fact in the consciousness.

This each man must ascertain for himself. Each soul must find out within himself, remembering ever that the Kingdom of God is within, and that only those facts which are realised within the individual consciousness as truths are of any value. In the meantime, that which many know, and have ascertained within themselves to be truths of an incontrovertible nature for them, may be stated; to the intelligent reader will then arise the opportunity and the responsibility of ascertaining for himself their falsity or truth.
